A newborn studio session is the perfect opportunity to capture the precious size and uniqueness of your newborn baby while they are still in their sleepy and delicate state during the early days after birth.
Booking:
To ensure availability, it is recommended to book these sessions in advance. This not only guarantees a spot for your baby but also allows for some pre-planning.
When booking a session, we will tentatively schedule it based on your due date. Once your baby is born, we can finalise the session date and time.
Session Date:
Ideally, we aim to photograph babies between 6 to 14 days of age, this is because your baby is generally the most settled for photos during this window.
Session Details:
These sessions are not rushed and typically take between 3 to 4 hours, depending on the number of family members included and photos you desire.
We will pre plan what photos you would love captured. I offer a variety of options ranging from natural and organic photos of baby, family and sibling portraits, and carefully styled setups.
Including Family Members:
I highly encourage you to take the opportunity to include immediate family members in the photoshoot. These family pictures will become cherished memories that you will treasure for years to come.
Your Session Includes:
Pre-consultation and planning to ensure we capture exactly what you would like most.
Full access to a wide range of props, wraps, bonnets, tiebacks, and rompers for styling your baby during the shoot.
The option to use dresses from the studio wardrobe, which offers a small collection for women and girls.
A gallery of approximately 20 to 30 very carefully styled, posed, and edited photographs to choose from.
An image reveal and design consultation to assist you in selecting your favourite images and to discuss any additional preferences or products.
The studio newborn session fee is $150, which covers the session itself. In addition to the session fee, digital collections are available starting from $590. These collections provide you with high-quality digital files of your chosen photographs.
Furthermore, if desired, you have the option to purchase prints, wall art, or albums to showcase and preserve your precious memories.
